Top of the Pops (Birthday Edition)


Today is the 58th birthday of songwriter, composer, musician Walter Murphy. He achieved a cult status for his disco version of Beethoven with his single "A Fifth of Beethoven.

He spent a week on top of the Billboard Hot 100 in October of 1976 with that song.
