Mitch Miller 1911-2010
This last Saturday July 31st the master of the Sing A Long, Mitch Miller. He celebrated his 99th birthday on July 4th. He had his only #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Yellow Rose of Texas" in 1955 with his Sing A Long Gang.
The Sing A Long moved to tv in 1961 and had quite the following and was geard for older fans who did not care for rock n roll.
