#1 Song of the Week (1988)

September 9th 1988  -  "Look Away" by Chicago is released

The first Chicago single to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 after the departure of Peter Cetera and the last #1 single to date for the band.
"Look Away" would also be Billboard's #1 song of 1989 after spending 2 consecutive weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 in December 1988.
