#1 Song of the Week

Our song this week was #1 for 2 weeks in October 1976,  "If You Leave Me Now" by Chicago.

Also reaching #1 on the UK Top 40 in November of 1976 it was their biggest hit worldwide and won Grammy Awards for Best Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist and Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus.
This was written and sung by the group's bassist Peter Cetera and was from their album Chicago X, which made it to #3 on the Billboard Album chart.
