Our chart topper spotlight this week is on the Temptations and "Just My Imagination".   They spent 2 week at #1 in April 1971 and this was the final Temptations song to feature founding members Eddie Kendricks and Paul Williams.

This is, to date, Bon Jovi's biggest selling album with over 12 million copies sold in the US alone and over 28 million worldwide.   This was the bestselling album of 1987 and yielded 2 #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 in "You Give Love a Bad Name" (1 week) and "Livin' On a Prayer" (4weeks).  A third single "Wanted Dead or Alive" peaked at #7.  This is also the band's best selling album in the UK but only made it to #6 on the the UK album chart.
The album did court some controversy with the original album cover (below) that was rejected by the label but used as the album sleeve inside the now famous rain cover.

Spending 1 week at the top of Billboard 200 album chart at the end of 1968 it spent 4 more weeks at #1 in 1969.  Also the #1 country album of 1969 (20 weeks at #1) with at the time Glen Campbell's single, the title track "Wichita Lineman".  That single reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped Hot Country Chart for one week in December of 1969.

The third album by the heavy rockers from the UK was a departure from the previous 2 #1 albums they released.   This was more acoustic and folk sounding and wasn't nearly as popular but still managed to top the Billboard album chart for 4 weeks and the UK album chart for 3 weeks in December of 1970. 

Only one song managed to hit the Billboard Hot 100, "The Immigrant Song" climbed all the way to #16.
