The album prodcued 3 top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and 2 of which also made the top 3 in the UK.
The first single was "Travelin Band b/w Who'll Stop the Rain", it peaked at #2 in the US and #8 in the UK. The next 2 sided single was "Up Around the Bend b/w Run Through the Jungle" and peaked at #4 in the US and #3 in the UK. The last single is in the top ten this week in 1970 "Lookin' Out My Backdoor" is at #10 after peaking in July at #2 but only made it to #20 in the UK.
Another single from the LP "I Heard it Through the Grapevine" was edited and released in January of 1976 but failed to crack the Top 40.
CCR still holds the record for most songs to reach #2 on the Hot 100 without going to #1.
