Original vs Remake #20
For the 20th edition of Original vs Remake I am going with one of the biggest songs of Paul McCartney's solo career and at the time, 1973, the most successful of the James Bond movie themes...
Live and Let Die
Released as the theme to the movie of the same name, Live and Let Die, the single went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over a million copies. It was also the #24 song for 1973
In December 1991 Guns N Roses released their cover version of this hit. They made it to # 33 on the Hot 100 but it was a memorable version.
