The #1 album this week in 1976
Fleetwood Mac - Fleetwood Mac
(1 week at #1)

1976 album wise was probably one of the biggest ever for sales.  Fleetwood Mac's now classic album had only a one week stay at #1 as it was bookended by Peter Frampton and the monster album of the year Frampton Comes Alive.   Also that year were #1 albums by the Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Wings, Chicago, Bob Dylan and Stevie Wonder and the all had multi week stays at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart.
Fleetwood Mac released 3 top 20 singles from the self titled album, "Over My Head" #20, "Rhiannon" #11 and "Say You Love Me" also #11.  In 1998 the single "Landslide" was released as single after becoming one of the most popular tracks from the group's live album The Dance.  It was not originally released from the album in 1976 but managed #51 in 1998.
