"Sweet Dreams"  -  Emmylou Harris

This country classic "Sweet Dreams (of You)" written and originally recorded by Don Gibson in 1956 and most associated with Patsy Cline’s hit version in 1963, was recorded live by Emmylou Harris at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California with Bernie Leadon's acoustic break later overdubbed in the studio. It became her second #1 country hit and was included in her album Elite Hotel released by Reprise Records on December 29, 1975 and reaching #1 on the Billboard country album chart and # 25 on the Billboard 200 chart. “Sweet Dreams" can also be found on Emmylou’s compilation albums- Profile: Best of Emmylou Harris and Portraits, a 3-CD Boxed Set, released on October 8, 1996 on the Warner Archives label.
