Upcoming CD release

Christian rockers Stryper plan to release an album of covers called…wait for it…The Covering. They’ll be churning out their take on Judas Priest’s “Breaking The Law,” Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper” (guess “Number of the Beast” was out, eh?), Scorpions’ “Blackout,” Ozzy’s “Over The Mountain” (definitely NOT “Mr. Crowley”) and more…including our favorite, a cover of Black Sabbath’s “Heaven And Hell.” . “We wanted to step outside the box and record a record that shows you, the fans, where we come from — our historical, musical roots so to speak,” said vocalist Michael Sweet. “It's a side to Stryper that no one has really seen or heard before, or at least quite like this.”
