Today May 7th is the anniversary of the passing of country/pop star Eddie Rabbit. He died this day in 1998 at the age of56 from lung cancer.
He was a very successful singer/songwriter with 20 #1 songs on the Billboard country charts dating back to 1976. He also topped Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart with "I Love a Rainy Night" in February of 1981.
