Glen Campbell and his smash hit "Wichita Lineman", which spent 2 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country chart in December of 1968.
This was his second #1 single on the country chart, his first was "I Wanna Live" , 3 weeks at the top in May of 1968.
This was from the album of the same name which spent 2 non consecutive weeks at the top of Billboards Album chart and also spent 20 weeks at the top of the Billboard Country Album Chart.
