Bon Scott

Today Feb 19th is also the anniversary of the death of AC/DC lead singer Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott in 1980. Bon died after a night of drinking and his cause of death was ruled acute alc0hol poisoning by doctors.
Bon joined the boys in AC/DC in 1974, replacing then lead singer Dave Evans.
Here is a clip of the band before with Dave singing.

The band briefly toyed with the idea of breaking up after the death of Bon Scott but soon found a more than satisfactory replacement in Brian Johnson. The first album with Brian was Back in Black, it was release on July 25th 1980 and has sold an estimated 49 million copies worldwide. This was a tribute album of sorts to Bon Scott with its black cover but the songs were the tribute, just the type of full force big songs he loved to sing.
He left a big legacy on the rock music scene with his mates of AC/DC.
He was laid to rest in his home country of Australia in the city of Fremantle.
