Today in Rock History

1957 - In Clovis, New Mexico, Buddy Holly & the Crickets recorded “That’ll Be the Day.” The song sold more than a million copies and topped the charts.

1965 - The Beatles’ film Help began shooting in the Bahamas.

1998 - Bob Dylan won three Grammys, including Best Album, for his album, Time out of Mind. During a performance, Dylan was interrupted by a protester with the words “Soy Bomb” painted on his chest.



Happy Birthday Stuart 'Woody' Wood of the Bay City Rollers he is 53 today.
